Day 1 – United States - Moscow
Depart today from the USA to Moscow.
Day 2 Welcome to Moscow
Arrive in Moscow, the cultural and political capital of Russia. You will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Moscow
After breakfast you will leave on a sightseeing tour of the city of Moscow, the capital of Russia. You will see Red Square, The Cathedral of St. Basil, Lenin’s Mausoleum and Gum, the largest department store in Russia. You continue to the Sparrow Hills where Lomonosov’s Moscow State University is located, then return to Zaryadye an “Open-Air Museum” of architecture. In the afternoon you will visit the Izmailovo Craftsman Market, where you will find every imaginable Russian souvenir.
Day 4 Moscow
After breakfast you will visit the inside grounds of the Kremlin, which encircles many historic buildings and monuments such as The Palace of Congress, The Bell Tower of Ivan the Great, The Cathedrals of Archangel & Annunciation. We will visit the Kremlin Armory Museum, the oldest museum of Russia with unique Russian cultural relics with an awesome collection of Faberge eggs and diamonds. In the afternoon we will visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. This cathedral has a magnificent and long history. Russian dinner at local restaurant. (outside hotel).
Day 5 Moscow
After breakfast an excursion to Trekyakov Art Gallery. This gallery is devoted to one of the worlds largest Russian and Soviet Art Collection from the 12th to 20th century with well over 100000 works displayed. Russian dinner at local restaurant.

Day 6 Moscow – St. Petersburg
After breakfast, we will have an excursion to the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. This museum has one of the world’s largest collection of ancient classical, oriental and Western European art, with over half a million works. Transfer by private bus to railway station. Depart by overnight train to St. Petersburg.
Day 7 St. Petersburg
Morning arrival to St. Petersburg railway station. Transfer to hotel by private bus. Check in and accommodation. After breakfast will have a city sightseeing tour. We will visit the impressive Peter and Paul Fortress (burial site of the Romanov Czars), St. Issac’s Cathedral, the Admirality Building & Nevsky Prospekt and other famous landmarks.
Day 8 St. Petersburg
After breakfast an excursion to Peterhoff (Peter the Great summer palace). This Palace rivals the magnificence of Versailles. Located on the shores of Baltic Sea. Peterhoff is more than just a palace, it is an imperial playground with lush parks, monumental cascades and gilded fountains. Evening an optional Balshoi Ballet performance.
Day 9 St. Petersburg
After breakfast, a tour of the world renowned Hermitage Museum plus the Golden Room located in Palace Square in the Imperial Winter Palace. Later an excursion to the magnificent Cathedral on the Split Blood. Folkloric show, champagne reception at Nikolaevsky Palace.
Day 10 St. Petersburg
After breakfast an excursion to Tsarskoye Selo (Tzar’s Village), the former summer residence of the imperial family, located 17 miles south of St. Petersburg. Catherine Palace and grounds are exquisite. Lunch at a local restaurant (Pedrovie) with music and folkloric dance. Farewell dinner at local restaurant. (Outside hotel).
Day 11 St. Petersburg…
After breakfast check out of the hotel. Transfer to airport by private bus. Departure from St. Petersburg to United States. |
